And we're back from Domotex

We were exhibiting at Domotex Hannover, at FloorForum last week, as you know. It was quite tiring, but the reactions we've got were so positive that we have forgot about our tiredness most of the time.

This year, we were very proud to have launched, exclusively at Domotex, two new collections, Karabag and Perla Natura, and a new brand, Klik.

In Carpetus, we always value the classics. Our new and modern interpretations of the classic Karabag kilim designs earned much praise during Domotex, and we are very happy to have brought the light back to this classic.

Perla Natura Collection, our new machine-made Nepal line, reflects the responsibility we feel, as Carpetus, towards the environment and the people. Made from all natural fibers, Perla Natura carries with it the health and beauty of nature to your living to your living spaces.

Finally, our new brand, Klik, brought a freshness to the carpeting world. With its interactive understanding of flooring, Klik challenges the static concept of area rugs and was very much appreciated by representatives from many different areas of flooring. The magnetic triangle pieces, Multiplay, and the felt area rugs established a new trend.

The happy memories remain, abnd we hope to see everyone again next year at FloorForum 2011.

We will be at FloorForum 2010

It has been sometime since we wrote to our blog, but we are back with wonderful news.

Each year in January, the carpet world experiences one of its most exciting events at Hannover, Germany: Domotex Hannover. bringing together the most recent collections and trends about the flooring world, Domotex turned in time to mostly a carpet and rug show.

Carpetus has been following the fair since our initial years, and opened a stand at Hall 2 last year.

Being at Domotex as an exhibitor was one of the most enriching and fruitful experiences we have ever had as Carpetus. Therefore, we wanted to participate again this year.

With one major difference: This year Carpetus will be among the select few brands that will have the chance to exhibit at the FloorForum area in Hall 3. We are very excited and are working very hard to present our best at this inspiring place.

You can visit us at Hall 3 Stand A56, right across the FloorForum Plaza.

We also have a suprize collection that will challenge the traditional understanding of area rugs, and you can also see that in the FloorForum Plaza and our stand.

Why Buying a Carpet is Beneficial in the Financial Crisis?

The financial crises we are going through led many consumers, maybe including us, to step back from spending or at least move towards less costly goods.

Consumers may have postponed their plans to buy new carpets and to make decoration changes.

However, we think that buying a carpet is quite beneficial in a crisis. And this is why:

1) During crisis such as this one, we start spending more time in our homes. A small change, such as the change of carpet, can make you feel much happier at home where you spend so much of your time.

2) A single carpet is enough to change the whole atmosphere in the room. You will not need to spend so much money on other decorational items :)

3) The concept of a carpet is so wide now that you will definitely find something in the market that fits your needs and desires.

4) In a crisis, a long term investment is a good investment. Your carpet will be with you for many years, at least until you get bored of it ;)

5) Our primary concern for the future, even more than the financial crisis, is climate change. Did you know that using a carpet is one of the ways to slow down global warming? Carpets are good insulators. They will decrease the energy you use to stay calm in winter and stay cool during the summers.

So don’t you agree with us know? If you want to add more reasons to buy a carpet during this crisis just drop us a comment.

It is just not easy to give up on carpets, is it? :)
